Graphenano Dental attends Expodental to present its disk with graphene for CAD/CAM

Graphene has come to the dental sector to stay. The Expodental trade fair (IFEMA, Madrid) is the event chosen by Graphenano Dental, a subsidiary of the Graphenano Group, to present its first product containing graphene: The G-CAM disk for milling using CAD/CAM technology.

Graphenano Dental is pioneer in incorporating graphene into autopolymerizable acrylic resins for dental usage, and the G-CAM disk is the first product in the world to be manufactured with this composition.

One of the main advantages graphene offers is that by incorporating it just in small quantities it can render enormous changes in the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of the material to which it is added. In this case, in the composite developed by Graphenano Dental, the graphene adds a wide range of properties to dental structures, because:

  • It affords a high elasticity threshold.
  • It increases surface hardness.
  • It eliminates the liquid absorption coefficient.
  • It is antibacterial.
  • It is radiopaque.
  • It has a low specific weight.
  • It prevents bimetallism.
  • It comes in a wide range of colours.

Graphenano Dental’s acrylic resin polymer meets all the necessary requirements to become the ideal material for prosthetic dental work using CAD/CAM technology.

You can familiarise yourself with our product at the IFEMA Exhibition Centre (Madrid), Hall 7, stand 7C11 and in the various talks by the general manager of Graphenano Dental, Jesús Martínez, as part of the Expodental Speakers’ Corner programme which comprises presentations on state-of-the-art treatments and technological advances in the dental sector.
